Richard Blankenship currently directs the North Atlanta Center for Christian Counseling and Faithful & True – Atlanta; a program for male addicts, female addicts, spouses, and couples in recovery.  Richard is the vice-president and director of the American Association of Certified Christian Sexual Addiction Specialists (AACCSAS).  Richard works with Cornerstone Training, a company that provides continuing educatoin events for professional counselors eith an emphasis in sexual addiction and co-addictionHe teaches with Dr. Mark Laaser at Psychological Studies Institute in Atlanta and guest lectures in a variety of courses.  Richard is a frequent guest on radio and television shows in the Atlanta area dealing with sexual addiction, coaddiction training.  He teaches with Dr. Mark Laaser at Psychological Studies Institute in Atlanta and guest lecturess in a variety of courses.  He is a frequent guest on radio and television shows in the Atlanta area dealing with sexual addiction, co-addiciton, spiritual abuse, and domestic violence.  He is the author of  S.A.R.A.H. (Spouses of Addicts Rebuilding And Healing) and The LIFE Guide For Young Men, a part of the LIFE Ministries series on sexual addiction. Richard holds two masters degrees; an M.Ed. from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and an M.A. from Harding University Graduate School of Religion. He is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with the state of Georgia, a nationally certified counselor (NCC) with the national board of certified counselors, and a certified clinical sexual addiction specialist (CCSAS). He is married with two children and has practiced with churches and counseling centers for almost 23 years.
